I'm also going to assume that because it is in java, there is no way to do an ebuild because of the environment it requires. , but curious if you have thoughts on it. that it is in java? To install Gentoo I use sysrescuecd.Based on Gentoo,has firefox to browse Gentoo docs and mc to browse (and edit) files. Is there somewhere an ebuild for Lightzone 4? on second thought maybe lightzone isn't so much like digikam, darkroom, lightroom but more just a stand alone editor. I use both gimp and the other programs I mentioned above, as well as photoshop. Also gimp has been lacking in non-destructive and 16 bit editing, though they may have changed in unstable versions? But I haven't intended this thread to be about gimp or comparisons to. This question suggests someone who hasn't used a photo organizing program like digikam, darkroom, or lightroom.
